About Us

St. George's Anglican Church has had a ministry to the community of Cadboro Bay for over 50 years.

The Church is not a building or an organization, or even a program... it is people. We are people aspiring to live as a Christ-centred community that proclaims the love of God to all people.

We believe it is important to be a parish family, welcoming all ages, cultures, and traditions. Although our heritage is in our British roots, we celebrate God's call to a people of every nation, language and race to be His family.

We work hard at creating an environment here that is friendly to all ages, from the very young to the most senior. We encourage you to find a place here with us, for our mutual spiritual growth.

Our goal is to equip people of God for their work and witness in this society, no matter where that activity might be: in classrooms, offices, hospitals, malls, in our homes in our retirement ... all the places we live from Monday to Saturday. We care about people. We care about everyone's need for friendship, for spiritual growth, for direction in life, and for love.

We believe these things to be available through our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, and with one another.
