WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS “Recent Archaeology and Jesus the Galilean” - 7:00 pm. A three part series continues on February 5 and February 8 with The Rev. Dr. Richard LeSueur. 7:00 p.m. for fruit & dessert, 7:15 – 8:45 pm presentation. “The successes of archaeology continue to expand our knowledge of the social and religious landscape in which Jesus grew and taught, and in which the Gospels took shape. Join a discussion on recent archaeological discoveries and the fresh insights they give to the ministry and life of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the Vestry of the parish of St. George the Martyr, Cadboro Bay will be held on Sunday February 12 at 11:30 a.m. in the Lower Hall, following a shortened 10 a.m. service. A light lunch of sandwiches provided by our Friendship Group and refreshments will be provided.

TRANSITIONS: YOUR JOURNEY OF TRANSFORMATION THROUGH GRIEF AND LOSS - This 10-week program grounded in Christian spirituality and prayer will provide insight, hope and prayerful support for those who have experienced a wide-variety of losses including the death of a loved one, illness, loss of a job and the ending of a marriage or significant relationship. SAANICH SONGMEN SINGERS – Welcome to all male seniors who can carry a tune – (no auditions) friendly, fun group singing popular standards. THE KIDSTART MENTORING PROGRAM is calling all caring, compassionate adults to consider volunteering 3 hours per week as a mentor for a child or youth aged 6-18. KidStart was created to connect vulnerable kids with stable, consistent adults for a year or longer.
